Psychotherapy and counseling services are provided only to clients physically located
within the State of Arizona at the time services occur. Services will not be provided if a
client is located outside Arizona at the time of session, regardless of residence.
Coaching and consulting services may be offered outside Arizona; however, these services
are non-clinical in nature and do not constitute mental health treatment.
Scope of Professional Practice
Services are provided within the education, training, and professional competence of the
counselor. The counselor reserves the right to decline or terminate services if client needs
exceed scope of practice or require a higher level of care. Appropriate referrals may be
provided when clinically indicated.
Participation in services does not guarantee symptom reduction, behavioral change, or
specific therapeutic outcomes.
Distinction Between Psychotherapy and Coaching
Harmony Alliance, LLC offers both licensed psychotherapy services and non-clinical
coaching or consulting services. These services are legally distinct.
Coaching services:
• Are not psychotherapy
• Do not involve diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions
• Are not healthcare services
• Are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or substance use treatment
• Are not protected by therapist-client privilege laws
While reasonable efforts are made to respect privacy, coaching communications may not
receive legal confidentiality protections afforded to psychotherapy under Arizona law.
A psychotherapy relationship is established only through signed informed consent and
intake documentation specific to counseling services.

Psychotherapy services are confidential as required by Arizona law and ethical standards.
Confidentiality may be disclosed without client authorization under circumstances
including, but not limited to:

requirements. Records are stored securely and released only with proper authorization or
legal mandate.
Electronic communications cannot be guaranteed to be fully secure, and clients assume
inherent privacy risks associated with digital communication.
Telehealth Services
Telehealth involves the transmission of clinical information using electronic communication
technologies. While HIPAA-compliant platforms are utilized, confidentiality cannot be
absolutely guaranteed due to factors outside the counselor’s control.
Clients are responsible for maintaining privacy on their end, including securing devices,
networks, and physical environments during sessions.
Telehealth services require separate informed consent prior to participation.
